Building Bonds Through Nature's Embrace

Our Story

Family Valor Outdoors was created because the need existed—not because funding existed. For approximately three years before becoming an official nonprofit, Founder Sean Curb personally funded outdoor experiences that impacted approximately 30–35 families. Today, Family Valor Outdoors exists to strengthen families by bringing Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, First Responders, youth, and their loved ones together through hunting, fishing, camping, and meaningful time outdoors.
"Family Valor Outdoors wasn't created because funding existed. It was created because the need existed."

Mission

Dedicated to strengthening families by providing meaningful outdoor experiences that bring Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, First Responders, children, and their families together.

Vision

We envision a future where every Veteran, Active-Duty Service Member, First Responder, and family has the opportunity to reconnect through meaningful outdoor experiences—building stronger relationships, restoring hope, creating lasting memories, and inspiring the children.

More Than the Harvest

Success isn't measured by the harvest or the catch. It's measured by families reconnecting, confidence growing, children learning, and memories that will last a lifetime.
The hunt isn't the mission.
The fishing trip isn't the mission.
The mission is the family.

Join the Mission

For three years, Family Valor Outdoors invested its own time, resources, and passion into creating meaningful outdoor experiences for families. Today, we're inviting you to become part of that story.

Every day, too many Veterans and First Responders struggle with isolation, depression, and suicide. We believe meaningful time with family, strong relationships, and the healing power of the outdoors can provide hope, connection, and purpose. While no single organization can solve this crisis alone, every hunt, fishing trip, campfire conversation, and family outing is another opportunity to remind someone they are not alone.

Your sponsorship helps create those opportunities. Together, we can strengthen families, restore hope, and be part of the effort to reduce Veteran and First Responder suicide—one family, one relationship, and one outdoor experience at a time.

Every family has a story.
Thank you for helping us make the next chapter one they'll never forget.
